Scholarly Communications: Creative Commons

Creative Commons

Creative Commons (CC) is a nonprofit organization that provides licenses to enable you to grant copyright permissions on your work. Creative Commons Licenses allows the work of authors to be freely shared, used, and built upon by others. The basic copyright law is restrictive and can prevent work to be shared and used. The Creative Commons licenses help authors reduce copyright restrictions by placing several Creative Commons licenses that range from sharing, using, and modifying the work for any user needs.
