Find answers to some frequently asked questions about the library here.
Access to databases is available remotely through our website. You can find them on our A-Z database listing. When connecting to a resource you will be asked for your Maritime credentials. This is the same username and password you use to access your school email.
If you are having trouble accessing databases remotely, email library@sunymaritime.edu with the following information and a librarian will respond to you as soon as possible:
Already have a citation and are looking for a particular journal? Use our Journal Finder to see if the content is available online in any of our databases.
All reference and research consultations will be provided through existing services such as chat, email, telephone, Zoom.
Librarians will staff the remote chat service and monitor the library email from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
If appropriate and available, web meetings can be provided to students/faculty for information literacy instruction. Fill out our request for library instruction form.
